Also some animation fun :)

Been having some fun with an Image I was working on. This is what you do when you get tired I guess :)

Monthly sketchdumps!

I've been mostly busy with work, so I've again let this blog fall into neglect and disrepair :(
SO! I've decided to post here what I've been doing past few months!
These are by no means finished or anything, just a bit of fun in the morning to get some blood flowing in the old drawing claw :)
I'm going to post my daily warm-up sketches to try and keep it up to date. I hope someone sees them :)
Enjoy!

Childhood memories - Krvnik! (The Executioner)

As a continuation of this journey I present you with an another character. This time, one from the sidelines, but still very entertaining during his screentime.
Enter Krvnik! (The Executioner)

Though a great inventor by some accounts, The Executioner is a tiny, cowardly creature.

Childhood Memories - Kaktus Car (The Cactus King)

About 22 years ago (I was 4, at this point in time) there was this favorite cartoon of mine. It's name was The Elm-chanted Forest  I think I've watched and re-watched it like, a million times and still can (fairly accurately) remember almost every line of dialogue.

So to honor a time I happily remember, I give you the main villain of the story - The Cactus King. An angry guy who really has it out for the beavers (go figure). I mean REALLY HATES THEM (never explained). What ever you do, don't ever speak of beavers in his midst.

GIF Season!

Though I didn't follow through with my videos ( I'll do those I SWEAR!), I've managed to capture a few animated GIFs of my work :)
I intend to do these regularly. It's a good way to see how my work progresses, and to see where I'm getting caught up the most.

I've made a multitude of these GIFs for now. But Only a few for personal work. I'll feature those now.
Hopefully the NDAs will lift soon, so I can get some of my professional work out as well.

Zombie Sworceror!

Mantis Shrimp Study

It's unusual for me to do side-by-side studies. But I've finally found some images I'd thoroughly enjoy doing.

There was no color picking, just approximate coloring.
And here's the big version :

It's not perfect, but close enough. The goal was having fun, as well as study.
